Café activities: a licensing document map
Organise the records for the entity, premises, actual food activity and any imports. This is an activity-specific preparation map, not a complete licence list or permission to open.
01 / Entity and actual activity
Identify the operating entity, location and activities actually planned: serving drinks or food, roasting, storage, repacking, delivery or importing. Match them against the commercial records and approvals held, and list changes or gaps for the relevant authority's review.
Do not assume that an approval for serving drinks covers roasting, repacking or importing. The exact activity and current requirements need a separate check.
02 / Premises and site records
Gather the lease, premises plan and relevant municipal, signage and use-permission records. PAFN's published establishment sheet refers to several such documents; it is a starting point for questions, not a certified current complete list.
Check which site, fire, environmental or other approvals apply to the actual location and activity. This map does not replace those authorities' requirements.
03 / Food establishment and additional activities
Check the establishment health-licence record and whether storage, repacking, food transport or delivery require further documents or approval. PAFN lists these as distinct procedure categories.
Keep the relevant licence, activity description and supporting records together. Do not apply school-canteen rules to an ordinary café merely because both handle food.
04 / Importing directly or buying locally
If importing in the business's own name, distinguish trade/import permissions, applicable customs requirements, the food-importer file and shipment-specific inspection and release documents. Check the current procedure for the exact product and activity.
If buying locally, organise supplier, invoice and traceability records. Neither a general trade record nor this map confirms that a particular shipment may be released or sold.
Official reference points
Current texts, amendments and applicability need to be checked for each matter. These reference points are not a conclusion that a particular provision applies.
